Our Mission: Embracing all in God’s love

Our Core Values: Sanctuary, Community, Renewal

Sanctuary—we are a place of refuge and protection, a “port in the storm.” God dwells here and gives us the grace we need. We live here in peace and come with joy to encounter God.

“Know that the Lord is God. It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.”

(Psalm 100:3-4)

Community—we support and encourage one another, caring for each other as family. We value one another’s talents and insights. We reconcile with one another when relationships are damaged.

“That there may be no dissension within the body, but the members may have the same care for one another.

If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.”

(1 Cor 12:25-26)

Renewal—we expect an on-going transformation of our spirits, our attitudes, and our character. We are being renewed in God’s own image so that what happens here carries over into all parts of our lives. We are renewed and sent out to help renew the world in Jesus’ name, putting into action our prayer, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!”

(2 Cor 5:17)
