Christian Education is essential to our faith development and our growth as disciples of Christ.
We study the scriptures, discuss our lives and discern where God is at work in the world. Trinity Heights has Education activities for all ages throughout the year. Take some time to explore our offerings below. If you don’t see one that works for you talk to a member of the staff about starting something new!

Adult Sunday School Classes
- BRIDGE BUILDERS: Room N260
- JOURNEY OF FAITH
- Life stage: All adults
- Are you seeking to take the next step in your journey of faith? Join us as we share the meaning and message of the Bible in a small group discussion format. Some of our goals include; in-depth study of the Bible, encouraging each other to live out God’s purpose for our lives, serving Christ’s community in the real world where we are called to participate, and to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer. We are also a class grounded in missions. We participate and use our gifts and talents where God leads us.
Challengers (Room 201) welcomes adults of all ages. Many class members have retired from their hourly or salaried jobs but are actively involved in volunteer work in the church and community. Lesson leaders change every three months. This makes it possible to have a variety of topics presented. The Challengers class has continued to enjoy a monthly social event. In September, the group traveled to Manhattan to visit the Flint Hills Discovery Center and enjoyed lunch together. The October 21st event was a Nursery Rhyme Party and a soup supper. The class welcomes guests and visitors any time.
Dream Makers (Room 203) If you enjoy exploring a variety of religious thought and engaging in discussion of how faith relates to current issues, this may be the class for you. We often use a video and discussion format or discuss how the day’s sermon relates to our lives. We welcome adults of any age to join us in our faith journey.
Praxis (choir room) will continue having weekly discussions on the morning sermon. The discussion questions will be provided by Pastor Amy. Anyone is welcome to attend!
Wesley Workers (Room 204) One of the organizing classes of Trinity Heights U.M.C., now composed of Seniors (and light on “work”), engage in lively discussions over the broad range of life’s experiences, spiritual guidance and Scriptural interpretation in the Wesleyan manner. We invite other Seniors to join and participate.
Children and Youth
UMC “Grow, Proclaim, Serve!” curriculum or thematic material
